What a monumental week we had in Washington, D.C. We taped an episode of “What America Eats,” appeared on “Let's Talk Live” visited with some dear friends, had a good cry with a retired Marine who taught me how to make Jamaican chicken stew, and caught up with my friend David from the American Culinary Federation.
After a week of non-stop movement in the nation’s capitol, it feels good to spend a few nights at Happy Days Cottage. The stillness, beauty, and fresh air allow me to recharge before heading back out on the road next week. There are so many amazing places on my itinerary from Monday, May 8 through Friday, May 12!
I am excited about visiting New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Kentucky, and Tennessee. Can’t wait to see you all and bring my love for life to your states.
